House-Rules

The following points are considered to be House-Rules, meaning they can not be found in the normal rules or they are modifications of the normal rules:
- All Companies, except Pre-SBB must own a Train
- All Traines removed due to Train Limit are not put back into Bank Pool instead they are out of the game
- It is only possible to place one Railhead per Round in general. Companies who must set there initial Railhead (because no predefined Position given) will not have the option to set another one. As Example: FNM can place a second Railhead in first Round because Startingposition allready set, while MOB will not be able to do that
- Train trading is allowed only between Major companies and Regional companies, not involving Pre-SBB

PreRound

- The PreRound only differs slightly from 1830
- The major difference is that every Players bets for every company.
- All Private companies are sold ba an Auction, one after another, and every player can place bets for the current company.
- A player can rais a bbid, or pass the action. After the last one passes the highest bid gets the company.
- The first player start with first bid on first company, the second player with first bid on second company, and so on
- When all players pass, the company is offered again for 5sfr less.
- Actionphase ends, when last company has been sold
- Directly after the round, the player who bought Milano - Saronne e Milano - Elba, must set the starting PAR for FNM

Private Companies

- PC's can be sold to Regional or normal companies (except SBB) after first 3/3H Train is bought (Cost of 1sfr - Double original value)
- PC's are closed when first 5/5H Train is bought
- After first 3/3H train is bought, PC's can use there special ability. Either for te company they belong to, or for the company their owner is president of

Regional Companies

- Regional Companies have available Shares. These are bought by players during Stockphase as for the normal companies
- Regional Companies Stock value is stopped (during right steps) on the grey border (160sfr - 200sfr)
- Capital for the companies, once active, is 5xPAR
- For Regional Companies a 40% Share costs 2x the Stockvalue and a 20% costs 1x the Stockvalue
- Regional companies operate in principle as normal companies, except that:
    * They can only use 'H' Trains (Regional Trains)
    * They are starting with 3 Railheads
    * They can operate up to two trains. They must own at least one train
    * They can not use foreign connections (red and Lichtenstein)
    * They can only buy/sell 'H' trains from/to other companies

PreSBB

- PreSBB's also have available Shares. These are bought by players during Stockphase as for the normal companies
- Regional Companies Stock value is stopped (during right steps) on the  grey border (160sfr - 200sfr)
- Capital for the companies, once active, is 2xPAR. They get another 2xPAR when reaching there Connection Goal
- The will become Part of the SBB when first 5/5H is bought
- For PreSBB a 50% Share costs 2x the Stockvalue and a 25% costs 1x the Stockvalue
- Regional companies operate in principle as normal companies, except that:
    * They are starting with 2 Railheads
    * They can operate up to two trains. They need not to own any train
    * They can not buy/sell trains from/to other companies

Tunnel Corporations and Mountain Railways

- 5 Holdings are avilable from each of them. They can be bought during Stockphase like any other Share (Tunnel: 50sfr, Mountain: 150sfr)
- With each holding, the owner may set a Mountain Railway (on the specific grey Mountain Tiles) or build one tunnel tile (on the lavender Tiles )
- The Mountain Railway can be placed directly afterwards together with on of the three income tables
- The Tunnel Corporations can be used by the president of a company to place one of the special tunnel tiles (in addition to normal placement) (Cost:100sfr)
- When a Mountain Railway or a Tunnel is accessed first (either by a train finishing on the Mountain, or by a train using a track throught a tunnel) that holding get's full worth for the end of the game (
Tunnel: 50sfr, Mountain: 150sfr)
- If at least one Route is going throught a tunnel the income is raised by 10sfr per City.
Track 'throught' a tunnel means that before and after the tunnel at least one station must be driven by.
- Tunnels must be Part of that Trains Track with '(' and ') while Mountains are normal Part of a Track comparable to FarAway
- Both arent't counting to the Cartificate Limit
- Both earn there owners Income each Stockphase like PC's
(Tunnel: 10sfr, Mountain: 40sfr)
- Each player may only buy one Tunnel Corporation and one Mountain Railway during each Stockphase
- Holdings can not be sold
- Mountains can have a value of L:10/20/50/80, M:10/40/50/60, H:10/50/80/10

Stock Round

- A Company gets Active when at least 50% of Stock are Sold. The Company gets only these 50% as Capital
- A Company gets the rest of there capital (another 2xPAR for PreSBB) when there "Connection Goal" is reached.
- A Company reaches there "Connection Goal" when a "virtual" Train can use Track from Companies Origin to the marked Goal Field (red marked Text)
- This Goal is reached automaticly for each company getting active after first 6/6H is bought
- No player may hold more than the shown number of certificates (These are other numbers than 1830).
- A player may hold as many Shares from a company as he likes, but when owning more than 50% (not equal 50%), that player may only buy more shares from Bankpool
- Selling Shares to the bank reduces the market price by one step down regardless of the amount of Share sold. If that Company is non-active it is lowered before the money is received (The players get's the worse value for the Share)
- There are different Shares in the game (50%, 40%, 25%, 20%, 10%, 5%). Whenever there is a question of rounding it is up-round
- At the End of Stockphase every company, that has Share inside the Bankpool, is moved left.
- For 100% Share sold it is still move up.
- The Initial PAR can be set to 60, 70, 80, 90 or 100sfr by the first play, buying the President Share. Depending on that initial PAR the Company gets 1-5 Railheads (inkl. Base)

Railroad Operations

- The Operational Order is normal. Every Company is numbered by there actual Stockvalue
- The President may place a YELLOW tile or replace a YELLOW by a GREEN tile or a GREEN tile by a BROWN tile or a BROWN tile by a GREY tile. It is not possible to directly place green, brown or gray tiles.
- The Map has Towns and Cities as normal, but other Special cities like L, B, Z
- A Normal Train (X Train) may operate on a Route with X Towns or Cities. A XH Train can do the same, but the full Track can only use X Tiles on the Board (no FarAway possible)
- When place a tile on a mountain or on a river the company must pay 30/60/90sfr (20sfr) for it. (That is NOT building a Tunnel on an lavender color tile)
- The red FarAway regions have four Values regarding the four available tile colors.  In addition one receives a bonus when having a track EAST-WEST or NORTH-SOUTH Connection
- Trains may be sold between companies after the first 3/3H Train has been sold.
- The Big Mountains (Grey ones) which are used with Mountain Railways can be part of a track when connected. The track ends there like it does on FarAway Connections. THe value is payed depending on the Incometable and the current Tilecolor.
- The 8E (Electric) Train can have a track throught towns/cities and may not count some of them. This is usefull to reach more lucrative Tiles with a longer Track
- When the President has to pay additional money for a company Train, he need not to sell any stock directly. He can have negative money. But than he is charged directly and after every Stockphase with 50% of his total dept.
- At the End of the Operational Phase, a Train is sold to foreign countries. This does not give new money to the overall Banks money
- No one can buy a train if he would have to scrap one
- If train must be removed due to max Train reduction, it is given back to the bank. Nothing is payed for it
- The First Railhead (Homebase) is free, the second costs 40sfr, all other 100sfr

 SBB

- SBB is build from all PreSBB after current Operational Phase directly after first 5/5H is bought. SBB Operates the next Round
- SBB gets all Money/Trains and Railheads PreSBB + 400sfr and a special 5H Train which can not be sold
- SBB Stockvalue starts in the 6.Row at 100sfr
- All PreSBB shares are changed 50% -> 10% and 25% -> 5%. Differences between PreSBB per share value and SBB value will be payed to Onwers/must be payed by owners. 50% are worth 2xStockvalue and 25% are worth 1xStockvalue
- SBB can only Buy/Sell Trains for normal Cost of that Train
- SBB directer will be the player with the most shares
- If there are more players with the same amount of shares, beginning with V1 to V5 the player which is first noticed as president becomes the new one
